Firearms in Gaterunner use a “shots” system that is different from actual “rounds”. In semi and fully automatic weapons, a “shot” is considered to be between 3 and 5 actual rounds, while various bolt-action type weapons have a 1 shot = 1 round style. Fully automatic weapons get negative modifiers to opponents courage rolls to avoid suppression. Instead of a scale of difficulty numbers to achieve to hit, only one number need be made, with negatives to the die roll based on range. The To Hit number does rise significantly if you are aiming for a specific body location, but the modifiers remain the same.
